“Beyond the Walls of Belief”

Resonance Science Foundation

“You are not controlled by your genes. You are controlled by your beliefs.” – Bruce Lipton

I have one of Lipton’s books, The Biology of Belief, which was interesting at the time published, and which to me seemed to be a precursor to much of what Dr. Joe Dispenza presently teaches now: The thoughts you hold in your mind are the realities that you ultimately create. Or what you believe about the world and about yourself interacting with that world is what you call into being in your life—it is what you manifest with your creative energies.

Meaning that if your thoughts are limiting, your immediate world will seem limited.  And if your thoughts are expansive, your immediate world will seem expansive; along with the possibilities for such a vast, untamed world existing in your imagination that is where and HOW life will unfold for you—from your world view to your self-image—wherever you put your energy and your emotion is how your LIFE will manifest.  At least that’s the theory.

Okay.

So as long as you are thinking good, loving, nurturing thoughts, then the world will likewise follow suit; well, …it will except when it doesn’t—except when your life intersects with others who are thinking not-so-nice thoughts about themselves, about you and about the rest of the world. Then things can get a little dicey for all involved because we’re all in this together, you know.

Can we avoid those not-so-nice thinkers?

Maybe sometimes we can, but when we can’t and LIFE turns not-so-nice for us as well. Then what can we do? How can we handle not-so-nice in our own life?

I mentioned previously I would list a few techniques that are ways to release fear and anger energies, or to better deal with unresolved trauma issues, or to just get a better handle on our lives in general—things I’ve learned over the years or mention some books that might help to read.

Some of the best reference books I’ve found have often been within the referenced footnotes of other books that cite another author’s thoughts and techniques. Example: Through my hypnosis study, came the NLP (neuro-linguistic programming) references from Bandler and Grinder, then the Andreas, and a few others.

One of the most amazing books I’ve run across is the Connirae & Tamara Andreas book on Core Transformation: Reaching the Wellspring WithinIt’s a great read on how to transform our personal beliefs—particularly the unconscious ones that run our daily scripts on how we view our lives.  It’s one of those drill-down exercises on getting to the heart of the matter of how and why we are doing whatever we are doing in our lives.

Another good info source on how to view and treat trauma, comes from Bill O’Hanlon, called Quick Steps to Resolving Trauma.  Lots of good material to consider in that book, and it’s an easy, to-the-point read on how to view traumatic experiences—‘how to successfully move through traumatic experiences and come out the other side of them’ sort of read.

From O’Hanlon as well as others, I’d read about EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) which were effective techniques developed by Dr. Francine Shapiro for releasing stuck trauma energies/memories from the mid-point of the brain so they can be fully processed by the higher brain. It involves a form of bilateral brain stimulation where you bring up the uncomfortable situation/memory and then move your eyes quickly left-to-right-to-left, etc. back and forth for 15 to 20 times, which forces the brain to shift the stuck energy out of the mid-brain  region and reduces the emotional impact of the memory.  It is very effective, especially on many forms of PTSD.  Another good book on this is by Jamie Marich, EMDR Made Simple.

O’Hanlon also mentions ‘Tapping,’ which I’d heard of through other sources as well, and similar to the bilateral brain stimulation of EMDR, has similar ‘lessening the emotional intensity’ effects of memories and emotions.  Here’s a book that I have on it:  TAPPING IN: A Step-BY-Step Guide to Activating Your Healing Resources Through Bilateral Stimulation, by Laurel Parnell. PhD.  It’s pretty straight forward and easily followed.

One helpful technique that I use repeatedly (sometimes daily) is the energy-release statements combined with 3 strong exhalations to blow out the intense energies and emotions.  Sounds too simple to be effective, but it really is helpful to shift a strong emotion that has a grip on you like sadness or anger.  You simply say, “I release the energies of ______ (fear, anger, resentment, sadness, anxiety, guilt, etc.), over this situation with __________ (name the person or situation). I release those energies now. They do not serve me.”  And blow out hard 3 times.   Keep doing it until the emotion lifts or you are in better control of it.

And one last thing I will mention on this subject: What I’ve found with my REIKI clients is that people tend to hold a certain intense emotion/energy in specific locations of their body (likely depends on what was physically happening to them at the time that this emotion first cemented itself into their body).  And that unreleased emotional energy can over time create physical issues like intense pain or illness in certain body parts.

When I had a client who held pain in a certain area of their body, and when I was working energetically over that area, I would often get visuals in my mind of a possible unresolved issue with someone or something, so I would ask the client if this particular person or situation I was seeing meant something specific to them because the source of their pain seemed to have some direct correlation to that person or thing.

If the client could recognize the correlation and could do the energy-releasing statements and blow outs, I could often feel the energetic block release from that location, and then shift out of their body.  So the body tends to hold emotional trauma as well as does the mind.

These are a few techniques that I’ve discovered over the years that have helped me personally as well as helped my clients.   Hopefully they can benefit you as well.

Healing the Wounds of Abandonment

This morning I was trying to clean off old documents/folders from my computer desktop screen—trashing the stuff that no longer applied or that I simply needed to let go, and I came to a document where I had copied the intro and start of Chapter One from my intended, but never written, fourth HONORING THE HERMIT book called HEALING THE WOUNDED SPIRIT.

I had said in THIS blog previously (“The Card Said WRITE”), that I had tried to write the book—but it just wouldn’t come out, meaning that I probably wasn’t ready to write it back then (2004), because evidently I hadn’t lived enough of LIFE at that point to claim proper knowledge of the subject matter.

So today when I saw the 3-page document mentioned I started to simply trash it, but stopped myself until I reviewed the contents because something unseen there still had a pull on me.

I, like everyone else, have been going through these unseen energetic cleanses (the ‘chaos energies’ bombarding us now) that are plaguing our collective unconsciousness at present.  They bring up lots and lots of OLD memories—OLD emotional wounds—OLD longings and losses—lots of stuff we’d rather not revisit now or EVER.

But like it or not, all that long-buried ‘painful stuff’ is coming to the surface now, no matter how much we wish that it wouldn’t, because it’s probably time for it to do so.

I liken this ‘energetic cleansing’ effect to what my REIKI students (as well as I, myself) go through after REIKI TWO attunements—the emotional/mental body ‘deep cleansing’ that occurs when the higher-frequency REIKI energies begin penetrating deeply into our energy fields and start releasing all those long-buried energy packets of emotions and memories that we thought we’d so successfully stashed deep inside us—never to face again.

I warn my students that for the year following the REIKI TWO attunements, all that OLD stuff that we’d filed away so long ago, will start to resurface with NEW intensity, and it will refuse to be stuffed back inside again, so you might as well let it rise and take a good, long look at it, and then intentionally LET IT GO!  DEAL WITH IT NOW!  Don’t try to avoid the pain, because it isn’t going to leave you completely until you address it and release the energy from it that you are still holding on to—even if unintentionally.

So today when I reread that 2004 short start to Chapter One, I nodded that yes, this IS what I personally had been feeling—it’s the ABANDONMENT issues resurfacing—from both sides of the coin—the personal pain from being the one “abandoned,” as well as the flip-side situation, which is the still-lingering sense of guilt that plagues the “abandoner” (if the abandoner is at all empathetic).

Here’s the beginning of the “ABANDONMENT” section from HEALING THE WOUNDED SPIRIT that I wrote in 2004:

“Chapter 1

Recently I contacted an old friend and co-worker. She and I hadn’t been in touch since I had quit the company to go out on my own four years ago. In the process of catching up on what had happened to each of us during that time period, I discovered that the sagging economy had played havoc with her life as it had with my own. She made a simple statement about her last year of work there, including a five-month lay-off that stuck a vein of gold with me: ‘Certainly was an interesting year and quite the learning experience.’

Yes, I nodded in full recognition, that’s how we assimilate LIFE—through what we are forced to endure—through how we learn to survive—and even by seeing who sticks by us during the bad times—and who deserts us.

When life is treating us royally, we feel no pain. It is during the difficult, stressful times and relationships for us that we receive the deepest wounds to our spirit. It is when we must fight to survive a situation that we view the worst in others and often express it ourselves to them.

Think about the circumstances of losing a job. What is it that makes us expendable to others? How can they so easily rid themselves of us? Are we worth so little to them that they can toss us aside?

What if leaving the job was our own choice? Why would we quit? What were our reasons for working in that job to begin with that now no longer apply, that we can so easily leave it—in effect, abandoning our post?

How about a previous relationship? What happened there? Did you break it off? Did the other person leave? How many “previous” relationships have you had? Were you the abandoned one or the abandoner?

Though each of these abandoned/abandoner issues we create deep wounds—psychological and emotional wounds that force the abandoned one to question why he could be so easily left behind; as well as wounds that create unrelenting guilt for the abandoning of another—for leaving, for reneging on our responsibility to another person for whom we once cared deeply.

I’ve been in both situations. I’ve been the one left behind and I’ve been the one who left. There’s a different type of pain to each of them. Guilt over leaving someone is a nagging, gnawing sensation that never seems to leave you alone, but the pain of being abandoned is far worse and more severely felt within the heart than even a deep sense of guilt can produce.

I’m not sure we ever really heal the wound that abandonment causes without some kind of emotional/psychological scarring because it makes us question our worth as human beings. It makes us question ourselves for existing. It even makes us doubt ourselves, wondering what we might have done differently to have prevented such a painful departure—how we might have been a better person or been a better partner, or been more interesting or more fun to be with, or a better provider, or a better lover, etc. What could we have done differently? Why was it that ‘who we were,’ was not good enough?…”

***

So….. when I read that short book blurb from 2004 this morning, it hit all my trigger points to my recent now-surfacing painful memories, and I realized that I’m likely not the only one feeling these confusing emotions right now that seem based in a time long, long ago—emotions based on memories and pain that I thought I’d finally come to terms with way back then and had learned to simply accept as aspects of LIFE.

Hmmm, …or maybe not.  Maybe we’re not meant to accept painful emotions in that manner. Maybe they are just there as a ‘reference.’  Very unpleasant reference material, I’d say, but still, it shapes our knowledgebase in a unique way.  It provides us a comparative sense of empathy for what others might be feeling in similar circumstances.

And at least I know from my own current mental gyrations, it certainly makes you acutely aware that abandonment, from either side of the coin, is not something you can take lightly. It could perhaps, given isolated circumstances, even destroy a more fragile psyche.

If you don’t have strong, mental underpinnings to survive a deep emotional loss, I have no doubt that it could take you down—if not permanently, then for an extended time of regrouping and refocusing until you are on your feet again.  That’s how strongly our emotions rule our lives.

That’s why many who are going through deep emotional loss are often ANGRY all the time. They are angry because ‘anger’ is a refocusing agent.  It’s a compensator.  Being angry and directing that furious inner venom at ‘someone’, especially at the one who hurt you, keeps you from falling apart—both mentally and emotionally.

I get it. I’ve been there.  But when you can finally reach a safe space where you can look behind the intensity of that inner fury—when you can look more closely at that uncontrollable, raging anger directed at the one who abandoned you, you will likely find only a bottomless pit of sadness and pain—which are emotions that make us the most vulnerable—like we were as children—powerless and at the mercy of others; and the one thing that we DON’T want to be at that critical moment of our current life is VULNERABLE.  Period!  So instead we mask our weakness, our vulnerability, with the most powerful emotion in our arsenal—ANGER!

And through the intensity of that anger, we regain our power—it gives us the energy force that keeps us going.  Anger fuels our thoughts and our actions—it gives us a sense of purpose—which is likely a masked VENGENCE type of purpose—but still, it’s a reason to move forward with our lives rather than crawling around, crying and moaning on the floor, which is what we may feel like doing instead.

Anger, the overwhelming force of power and dominance for life on earth, gives us the WILL to survive.

But in truth, ANGER only keeps us from temporarily falling apart, because we still have to deal with the true emotions of sadness and pain that we are actually feeling, or they will haunt us like that nightly, recurring heartburn—it’s always there when we lie down to sleep—always about to make us sick if we don’t counter the nauseous effect with something to lessen its grip on us.

ANGER is often the fall-back, default mode we slide into when we are feeling vulnerable. But for many valid reasons, being continually angry is not a good way to live your life.  It can destroy your health and your other current relationships.

And when an entire collective consciousness is angry, it makes for major societal upheaval, which is what we are experiencing now.

***

Anyway, enough on this lengthy diatribe for today.  What I intend to do in the future here is to list and explain some books and  techniques that I’ve learned on how to deal with these now-surfacing strong emotions/memories that are can be so difficult to successfully handle.

Over the years I’ve found some helpful techniques I will share here that can help you shift your energies higher by releasing the nasty old stuff that has refused to let you go.

So at present, if you also are feeling the ‘anger-energies’ or ‘deep sadness feelings’ that I mentioned above, hang in there. You are not alone in this. I’ll show you some techniques that can help you to better deal with it.

Soon.

Empty Space?

Nassim Haramein

“Physical objects are not in space, but these objects are spatially extended (as fields). In this way the concept ’empty space’ loses its meaning.” – Albert Einstein

Cymatics image by Journey to Curiosity”

Since I tend to output what I input, I noticed Nassim used a Cymatics image this morning to accent an Einstein quote about physical objects being fields (of energy).

And because I’m all about trying to explain ENERGY as I know it, not necessarily as physicists do, I can often only grasp bits and pieces of their explanations for such concepts as Matter, Mass, Time, Space, Velocity, and Energy, etc.; but I know that the Theoretical Science community is still attempting to explain the world that we know and even to explain other dimensions accessible from our world, so no one presently has the definitive answer to what makes us and every other aspect of LIFE (as well as non-LIFE) what it appears to be.

They can only speculate on them based on what they can perceive about our world and what they can deduce from those perceptions.

But perceptions are limited; especially the five-sense perceptions of humans, so as greater experiencesensing devices are created to test that which is humanly imperceptible, not surprisingly the scientific theories about our world expand as well.

The thought just came to me that if you were a semi-intelligent fish swimming around in a vast ocean of water—just doing your FISH-thing of looking for food and trying NOT to be eaten by larger fish—you might not have a concept for WATER other than that it was all around you, and you moved through it as fish do, as did the other possible food/predators move through it, without the thought of WATER ‘existing’ in and of itself.

WATER was simply the medium through which you, as a FISH, operated. You existed only because IT existed, and yet you may have little if any understanding, of what WATER actually was or what it really meant to you existentially.

As that semi-intelligent FISH, you may not even realize that without WATER, there would be NO you.

So to my limited mind, I can grasp the concept that we exist in an ocean of ‘unseen’ fields of energy, and that we are like tiny minnows swimming through it, obliviously doing our own things.

As minnows, we are IN the WATER. We are birthed FROM the WATER. And in many respects we are aspects of WATER itself, as the cells of our bodies are primarily hydrated by water. But that doesn’t mean that we understand our connection TO the WATER any better than the other minnows do.

Unless of course, we are SELF-REALIZED minnows; and then we simply think that we are the OCEAN exploring itself.  HA!

And who knows? Maybe we are.

CYMATICS—Sand Particles and a Speaker

I like to listen to ‘tonal’ musicians, particularly the ones who produce eerie sounds through the ringing of metal or crystal objects, and/or by matching their singing voice to the resonating tones.

There are the loud, reverberating GONG folks who with a few strokes can get your head buzzing in short order, the metal tuning-fork musicians/sound-healers whose ringing tones pulse against your eardrums in slowly decreasing intensity, and then there are the hauntingly beautiful, whispering tones delicately teased from expensive crystal bowls exquisitely designed to pierce your consciousness and clear your head of thoughts.

I really like the crystal bowls tones. They feel very ethereal.

That’s the amazing thing about these particular stuck-metal or crystal-produced tones—you don’t just hear them—you can actually FEEL their vibrations in your body and your mind. They can be startling and uncomfortable if the tone is harsh or off-key, or they can be calming and unbelievably soothing depending on the tones involved or the harmonic level achieved.

You can start to resonate with them, like an unplayed violin’s string can suddenly emit a sympathetic vibratory tone when another violin’s string is played near it. It’s called sympathetic resonance.

One tonal musician that I listen to (Facebook) made some statements this morning that I had to agree are semi-plausible explanations on the underlying mechanics of how the collective consciousness is being slowly shifted higher.

He likened the energetic vibratory havoc of what is happening in our current chaotic environment to the radio static we often encountered long-ago when turning the old analog dial between radio stations.

We, as a group consciousness, are currently stuck in that ‘between-stations’ static phase.  We are slowly shifting our collective operating frequency out of our ‘normal-operation vibration’ and into a higher one, but we haven’t arrived yet at the new harmonic note to stabilize into the ‘new form’ of what the collective consciousness will become.

Because he’s a crystal bowl ‘sound guy’, he used CYMATICS examples as visuals to help us understand how ‘energy at large’ settles into a material form through the particular frequency that is directly applied to it.

For that ‘CYMATICS simile on energy-shifting’ example, he mentions the example of loose sand on a flat metal surface with an amplified speaker blasting below it that shifts the sand into geometric patterns of ‘form’ depending on the particular ‘frequency’ that is played through the speaker below.

The study of this ‘dancing sand forming geometric patterns per frequency applied’ process is called CYMATICS.

When the sand is first sprinkled onto the flat surface, it sits inert in whatever position it first fell; but once the speaker below starts emitting a particular musical note at a particular hertz level, the sand begins to dance on the metal surface.

The louder that the tone is played, the more the sand starts shifting around until it forms recognizable symmetries that stabilize into geometric patterns per that particular tone’s vibratory frequency.

And like tuning that old analog radio dial between stations, when you start moving from that first true note toward the next true musical note, you get static—the ‘in-between range’ portion of the noise below the sand disrupts the pattern and sends it into dancing-sand chaos until the next true harmonic NOTE is reached, where again a recognizable geometric sand pattern forms on the metal surface—but it forms a slightly DIFFERENT geometric pattern to match the higher note played, because each note’s harmonic vibration has its own basic mechanical structure pattern. (It’s really fascinating to watch this geometric structural transformation as the emitted tones rise up the musical scale. I’m sure YouTube has this recorded somewhere under CYMATICS.)

Cymatics experiments were the first early evidence that sound, and more precisely, each individual note on a musical scale, has a specific structural design per the hertz frequency being emitted.

It is likened to the process of how energy actually solidifies into matter by taking the shape of the frequency pattern being played into it to coax the raw energy material into a specific form—a refined form like humans, for example.

I found his ‘We are shifting higher the collective consciousness frequency like sound-waves forming new structural patterns,’ as an interesting theory to consider on many levels.

And the visual evidence of the ‘underlying geometric structural patterns’ on individual musical notes of the harmonic scale (as shown from the CYMATICS experiments), would imply that we, as highly-condensed, highly-refined, energy units ourselves, are vibratory ‘musical symphonies’ in our own right.

Fibonacci Time

From Facebook: Resonance Science Foundation

Fibonacci time

‘The only reason for time is so that everything doesn’t happen at once.’ – Albert Einstein”

Love the Fibonacci Spiral Clock image and basically just wanted to share it here.  Maybe viewing time in this manner helps to shift our perspectives on LIFE in general.

There really is nothing straight-line about time or about our individual timelines. Even we, who thanks to gravity are standing on this water-covered planet which is traveling through space annually circling a giant ball of fire which is in turn circling a central axis within our Milky Way galaxy every 225 million years, are spiraling through our lives, going round and round in ever-expanding circular paths, but always returning in proximity to where we first originated—back to where we once started—a little older, and hopefully a little wiser through the processing of TIME.

What was that famous T. S. Elliot quote?

“We shall not cease from exploration
And the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time….”
–T.S. Eliot

That was the part best-remembered and most frequently mentioned of a rather long Eliot poem, but the last of it is this:

“…Through the unknown, unremembered gate
When the last of earth left to discover
Is that which was the beginning;
At the source of the longest river
The voice of the hidden waterfall
And the children in the apple-tree

Not known, because not looked for
But heard, half-heard, in the stillness
Between two waves of the sea.
Quick now, here, now, always–
A condition of complete simplicity
(Costing not less than everything)
And all shall be well and
All manner of thing shall be well
When the tongues of flames are in-folded
Into the crowned knot of fire
And the fire and the rose are one.”

(Excerpt from Little Gidding which is the last of T. S. Eliot’s Four Quartets.)

Or LIFE, as we know it in Fibonacci Time.

“What Is REALLY Going On?”

In many ways it’s been a rough year for ALL of us; and were I into ‘standard thinking’ modes, I’d have likely had a hard time mentally handling much of what has occurred throughout this year. But at this stage of my life I can accept the general societal disruption (pandemic crisis/stock market crashing/Floyd killing-social injustice protests) more with a sense of intense interest, while trying to stay non-judgmental about it all.

Why do that? How can anyone be non-judgmental about everything that has happened this year—especially this last month?

I try to stay non-judgmental to be able to see the critical OVERVIEW of everything happening at this time period in our lives and to view those situations contextually against the history of our nation/world, rather than seeing it through the myopic lens of personal threat/insecurity and/or the collective’s hyper-anxiety levels. And those collective ANXIETY energies have been very strong for months. It’s hard NOT to feel them and even harder NOT to be negatively affected by them.

And because I work daily to maintain that intentionally ‘detached’ attitude for the greatest clarity over what is really happening here, I try to stay as unemotional as possible and simply watch/observe everything transpiring day by day—watching the cataclysmic shift in global awareness—watching the long-overdue evolution in humanity’s social attitudes and governing structures. Those are pretty sudden and amazing shifts in the collective consciousness.

By maintaining that detached but acutely aware attitude, I can view it all playing out more so with awe and amazement for what is actually happening at a collective level, rather than through a personal sense of horror, fearfulness and dread. (Or with flat-out anger/rage, which are easy enough emotions to slip into right now for any of us, including me.)

Again I’ll repeat that it isn’t easy to stay detached and unemotional with all that has been happening, especially the last three weeks, but that is my goal to stay focused on critically assessing what is really happening here.  I do that by observing the components of the chaos created, and by studying the less-visible undercurrents interacting with each other, or by catching the tainted attempts to incite group violence, or by witnessing those obvious and blatant attempts to manipulate the public airwaves for personal gain (protesters gassed and dispersed in DC to clear a path for a propaganda video/photo-op with a never-used Bible).

So the title question, “What is REALLY going on?” is a very important question for all of us to ask right now.

This morning when multitasking while listening to Kaypache’s weekly astrology report, I stopped what I was doing to listen more closely, because he referred directly to the focus of this blog on “Finding Your Truth”.  The link is listed at the end if you’re interested, and I’ve included a few notes taken below from his talk.

“Astrology for the Soul June 10, 2020 – Kaypache Lescher”

“What’s going on???”

“This astrological time period is like a can opener working on a long-sealed lid… ‘Let’s cut open the Collective Unconsciousness’… it’s like opening Pandora’s Box,… like a volcano erupting…spewing it all over everywhere… what has been lying latent,…is now revealed. …We’re all getting psychically opened up.”

“Lots of confusion now…lots of uncertainty… we can feel very lost now…very confused,… but we’re also very impressionable to guidance from others (looking to others to lead us—guide us out of this mess)…. When we are that uncertain of ourselves and of our own inner guidance, we’re then more susceptible to deception from others, so we have to be very aware of our susceptibility to those energies, thoughts, and motives of others right now.”

To paraphrase, he talks about the importance of maintaining an overall higher frequency in how you respond to this chaos—a higher attitude—maintaining higher-frequency energy levels (compassion, gratitude, lovingness energies, rather than fear or anger/hatred energies which are lower frequency), especially while all the societal chaos is underway.

It’s a time for lancing the boil of societal infection and clearing out the pus so we can clean and heal the still-festering wounds of injustice, fear, and hatred. And there’s lots of nastiness getting squeezed out of those wounds right now.  It’s a necessary, but messy healing process.

He talks about the importance of our beliefs—unplugging from the old beliefs—the old religions—the old dogma of rights and wrongs—how you were told that you had to listen to some external authority because YOU don’t know any better—don’t know how to think for yourself, etc.,..Well those days of ‘listening to external authorities’ are long gone now. This is the time to come into your own.  It’s time to be YOU!  It’s time to be fully YOU!

“I bow to the inner wisdom within myself. Still the mind. Come into stillness and you will find your personal truth—that’s the golden nugget….you find your personal truth and then you connect with those who resonate with that truth and you manifest that TRUTH that is shared….you are bringing the Natural Laws down into manifestation now, and for the next year and a half…”

Anyway, here is the link if you might want to hear his report, which I thought was a pretty interesting take on our current mess.

Chaos and Reorder

Being a fairly opinionated person in a world full of similar people is at times problematic. Everyone is so busy vehemently expressing their own views that they have little time to listen to the others around them doing the same.

So for awhile there I just sat back and watched, and more importantly, I listened for a change.

What did I hear?

I heard multiple expressions of pent-up frustration, deeply justified anger, and sobs of overwhelming grief at such vicious acts of brutality and unbelievable stupidity on the part of police, politicians, and self-focused opportunists—all trying to take advantage of the horrible chaotic situations around the nation, in their own ways.

The social airwaves were full of rage and recrimination—impassioned demands for justice and equality for all—and lots and lots of ‘WORDS’ were spoken from all sorts of mouths that are normally shut in fear of retribution from those in power who can make you quickly regret saying anything against their policies and practices.

Those WORDS just started slipping out. Then more WORDS followed the first ones. Suddenly WORDS were expressed everywhere.

Some in power tried to silence them, but the WORDS just kept flowing. And the crowds just kept gathering; and then it went world-wide—masses and masses of people shouting, “ENOUGH!  NO MORE!”

These WORDS that I heard weren’t the phony slogans of a few ‘Covid-19 forced-isolation’ protesters, crying to the cameras “Give me liberty or give me death!” while posed securely with assault rifles at their sides, just because they could stand there with them lawfully—looking tough for the evening NEWS crews, and feeling smugly unassailable.

Had many of those armed, protesting groups been a slightly darker shade of skin color, I doubt that they would have stood there long without direct SWAT Team intervention to clear the area—which made the gathering WORDS main point entirely.

No, these WORDS that I heard were the WORDS of genuine dedicated marchers amassing for and demanding CHANGE to policing policies—change to social inequities—change to public perceptions—change to the group psyche of America and maybe to the psyche of humanity in general.

But ‘status quo’ doesn’t give up its preferred seat without confrontation—without the occasional social chaos that forces a public re-thinking of WHY situations and events play out the way that they do in a supposedly civilized society.

It often takes CHAOS to force reorder in a society—a reconsideration for WHY the society’s membership has revolted and demanded change to its basic governing structures.

And it takes a lot of WORDS to force that society’s reorder, but even more importantly, it takes a lot of ACTIONS to finally make it happen.

It takes a lot of bodies joining together—as a mass of humanity. It takes a lot of unified voices demanding that it be done. That’s what the never-wavering, ever-present crowds achieved—day after day, marching, shouting, demanding social change—demanding justice for ALL victims of oppression and demanding justice for the criminal acts of violence perpetrated against them.

Those never-thinning crowds simply demanded justice and equal treatment for all. And more importantly, they demonstrated that they weren’t going away until they actually received it.

That’s what I heard when I listened.

And yesterday, at the funeral for George Floyd—who has now become the nation’s symbol for those WORDS highest expression, the WORDS were forged into indelible, permanent TRUTHs for all to witness and to uncomfortably digest—and people everywhere mourned his loss.

“I Got NO Ears”

I chuckled at a Berkeley Breathed’s “Bloom County” (on Facebook) comic strip this morning, thinking ‘How appropriate for this time period with everything that is happening—both virus related and beyond.’

I’ll probably catch ‘copyright infringement’ hell (again) for posting it here, but nothing makes the point better than the real thing.

While I also hate wearing the masks, I DO wear them since I was badly sick for three weeks with whatever was going around a month ago (Covid?—who knows), so I see the value in protecting not only myself, but protecting others around me from whatever I had at the time.

What struck me here with the Opus comic (I love the character Opus, who is not unlike most of us—well-intentioned, good-natured, and totally clueless), was that the little girl kept saying that ‘she knew what he was thinking’, then proceeded to project her emotions and opinions on his actions, when in his reality, he was stuck in the uncomfortable conundrum of ‘earless-ness’ with a protective device that required him to utilize ‘ears’, along with the ending statement by his antagonist that “Normal is no longer good enough.”

Well done Berkeley Breathed.

Sometimes with an impromptu Presidential press conference like yesterday, having no ears isn’t such a bad thing.

On Fractal Codes

Nassim Haramein

“There are fractal codes containing the laws of creation and the more we understand these laws the more we can apply the harmony that is apparent in nature as a more powerful force in our own lives. There is truth and purity in natural things and our contact with them nourishes the soul and illumines the mind.”Jonathan Quintin in “Sacred Geometry For You

My knowledge of fractals is more about visually recognizing them as such, rather than being able to explain what they are other than as self-replicating mathematical patterns that seem to extend into infinity.

The first that I learned of fractals was years ago with the well-known Mandelbrot Set, which to a Graphic Artist at the time, were pretty fascinating images.

When I see them now displayed for closer examination, especially as living examples of nature’s underlying geometric design, I recognize how little I, or most anyone else, truly understand the complexity of the world that we inhabit and share.

I find this realization of my ‘overwhelming ignorance of the world that I inhabit’ quite humbling to me.

As Jonathan Quintin states above, “There are fractal codes containing the laws of creation…”, and of that I have no doubt. I can see evidence of that for myself.

My questions have more to do with “The Creators” of those codes and their actual intentions for their creations, which would include us and all of life as we know it, because I can easily see that nature is an intentional creation.

I just want to know WHY?

Seeing Through the Pretense Facade

“Enlightenment is a destructive process.
It has nothing to do with becoming better or being happier.

Enlightenment is the crumbling away of untruth.

It’s seeing through the facade of pretense.

It’s the complete eradication of everything we imagined to be true.”

– Adyashanti

While we tend to think of ENLIGHTENMENT as the ultimate consciousness attainment level, it isn’t necessarily a fun thing to experience firsthand. It might be a level of awareness and understanding beyond any recognized intelligence known to humankind, but achieving that level isn’t something to push too hard for nor to take too lightly.

When your personal perception shifts to a different way of viewing LIFE in general, or when you develop an alternative perspective on the events that transpire around you, then the context of how you view your own life can drastically shift as well.

That was a somewhat clumsy way of saying that once you cut through societal smokescreens and social norms, then you start seeing things—people, processes, events, situations, as they really are—not as others want you to see them.  And when that ‘au naturel’ LIFE REVEAL suddenly occurs for you, it can be shocking or even disheartening, because many things that you once considered to be ‘unquestionable TRUTHs’ now become the subject of your mind’s numerous NEW questions.

This ‘TRUTH unveiling’ process can even be psychologically destabilizing because you are instantly realizing that some of the most basic foundations of your earliest comprehension were built either on the unintentional ignorance of others, or on their intentionally-misdirecting propaganda—which to me is far worse than simple ignorance because the intention is to manipulate others toward a goal of some sort.

So with Enlightenment, TRUTH will always be TRUTH, but fully recognizing this NEW perspective on it and not losing your mental faculties in the process, becomes the ultimate trick.  That is the destructive power of Enlightenment as described above.

It’s a bit like that Paul Coelho quote listed a few posts ago— “Maybe the journey isn’t so much about becoming anything. Maybe it’s about un-becoming everything that isn’t really you so you can be who you were meant to be in the first place.”     ~ Paul Coelho

Sometimes it’s not so much about what you learn of LIFE, as it is about what you unlearn of LIFE to be able to recognize TRUTH when it finally does reveal itself to you.

The Intricate Design of LIFE

From Facebook: Tao & Zen

“The basic laws of the Universe are simple, but because our senses are limited, we can’t grasp them. There is a pattern in creation.” ~Albert Einstein

“See simplicity in the complicated. Seek greatness in small things. In the Universe, the difficult things are done as if they were easy.” ~Lao Tsu

Just admiring the apparently intentional design of LIFE—when you look more closely at the world around us, it’s hard not to notice it.

Yesterday I was busy mowing off all of those beautiful, white dandelion heads, so it’s probably a good thing I didn’t see this picture prior or it might have been harder to cut them down.

“What a beautiful array of amazingly-intricate, geometric designs…” is not what you are normally thinking when encountering thousands of dandelions poking up in your yard.

At least those weren’t my thoughts while mowing.

Alberto Villoldo’s Guided “Journey to the Upper World”

Just passing this option along to anyone interested in experiencing the standard Shamanic guided journey—this one being to the Upper World for specific purposes or for asking key questions.

These shamanic journeying experiences are fairly subjective, and usually you will travel to the Lower World prior to going above, so when he talks about acquiring another Power Animal during your journey, he means that you will have acquired one from the Lower World journey as well.  And they aren’t usually the same animal spirit (or think of it like an archetypal/behavioral energy pattern that this particular ‘animal’ often represents for you).

As he suggests in the blog post, this will work best for you if you record the instructions to play back as you close your eyes and meditate while listening to the recording. (Suggestion: Read slowly into the recorder and allow yourself plenty of observation time between setting changes during the journey instructions.)

Alberto Villoldo—   “In this blog post you’ll learn how to journey to the Upper World, where you’ll meet your celestial parents and ask them to reveal your original soul agreement. For your first journey, keep your questions simple (there will be time on later journeys for broader questions) and be open to the possibilities of your destiny, whatever it might be.

Before you leave the Upper World, you’ll call out for a power animal whose instinct and qualities will guide you to your destiny. Even though it will serve a similar function to the one you received in the Lower World, the spirit animal that you’re gifted from the Upper World is almost always a winged creature, such as a hawk, dove, or eagle. It will teach you vision and the ability to put your life into perspective. …”

The rest is for you to record for meditative playback.  Hope you enjoy it.
