Mental clarity is struggling to survive in today’s environment of broadcasting constant lies and fabrications. If you tell the truth now, you will be fired. If what you say is not what someone in power wants to hear, then you are toast—done—gone. It seems that TRUTH doesn’t matter any longer, while fabricated propaganda is relentlessly pushed to the masses.
The problems here in our world are many—too numerous to even list. But if you can’t rely on TRUTH to clarify what is actually happening from what was pretended to happen, then you have no reliable ground to stand on for your future decision making; and you will sink like a boat anchor into the toxic quicksand around you. So what to do?
Well, even quicksand bottoms out at some point. You just have to learn how to survive its downward pull. Lean back, spread your arms up and out, lightly wiggle your feet free and float above the mess until you can pull yourself to safety.
The same applies here—pull back from the media saturation, focus on your own endeavors, and put your total effort into making each day the best it can be for you and yours. Then avoid the pit entirely. Don’t go there again. You don’t need to hear lies; and if all they are saying IS a lie, then why listen?
Believe in yourself and your own ability to know what is right from what is wrong. Trust your own discernment power. Do good whenever you can; and help those in need around you.
If you are ever in need of help yourself, like being stuck in that darn quicksand pit, do you think you are going to ask your possible rescuer what country they were born in, or who they love, or what they actually believe about our reason for existence? Or are you just going to grab the branch they are holding out to help pull you free?
BE the one holding out that saving branch to others. Lies don’t matter when you aren’t listening to them.
